Since 2019, New York has been under one-party rule, and the results are clear... New York is less safe and much less affordable. The self imposed migrant crisis is draining much needed resources from legal, law abiding, New York residents... (veterans, seniors & families) who need help themselves. The radical, pro-criminal, anti-police reforms that have been rammed through in Albany have made it nearly impossible for law enforcement officials to do their jobs and have made New York a much more dangerous place. It's no surprise that over this same time frame, New York leads the nation in one thing... the number of residents who are leaving to go to other parts of the country!
It's time to reverse course and bring balance back to Albany. We need checks and balances and a return to law and order. We must support law enforcement, not vilify them. We need to punish criminals...not coddle them. We need to help businesses succeed and grow to create more job opportunities... not attack and punish them for succeeding. We need more common sense solutions... not more radical mandates. The bottom line is, we need to give our next generation a reason to stay and an ability to thrive, not more reasons to pack up and leave.
